A page where actors turn the camera around. This month: Star-Shooter Rose McGowan heads to Memphis, the land of Elvis and Kmart. Camera: Polaroid One Step Express.

1. Self Portrait. Spoon Scratching technique done at Shoney’s restaurant (a step below Denny’s). My irritation with runny eggs that didn’t look like the pictures on the menu.

2. Location/Event/Models Sun Studios. Graceland. Elvis Heaven. Kick-ass king of my world. Brian: Kick-ass guitarist from a band called Stranger. Molly: Kick-ass chick-a-dee make-up artist to the stars. Rose: Kick ass photographer extradinaire (Thank God for AutoFocus).

3. Do you prefer the “instant satisfaction” of Ploaroid’s OneStep Express, or the “longer, enduring” quality of an ordinary point and shoot? I vacillate. Generally, instant gratification sends me more over the moon. However, point and shoots are like ordering things through the mail. You always forget what you ordered, and it’s a great suprise. Then again, Polaroids are instant satisfaction. See, I told you I vacillate.

4. While most designers have gone to tofee brown for fall ’98, Polaroid has introduced what seems like a zuchinni green. What do you think of the bold fashion statement? Green is the best color on Earth. Green, I love you. Green, I think you should marry me. Green, you have my heart. Green, 4-ever. Green rules. Green loves Rose..

5. Polaroid boasts that the new Platinum film is “sharper and crisper.” Would you say it’s…a) sharp, mild, and crisp b) tangy, crunchy, cool, and crisp c) or just plain sharp and crisp? C. I like that my selection started with “or just.” That’s all. Thanks for asking.

6. While Polaroid’s newly designed sleek yet aerodynamic body may not measure up to the body of Pamela Lee, what do you think? I know what you’re thinking, but I’m not going to say… The exact opposite. You know why? Well, I’ll tell you. I don’t believe in being mean to an innocent, beautiful lady. There, I’ll step off my soap box.

7. As a bonus with your purchase of the OneStep, you get a sassy little carrying case. Will you a) keep it b) toss it c) put a Prada label on it? I would keep it, then I’d toss a Jaclyn Smith Kmart collection label on it.
