CHERRY ON TOP: “Grindhouse movies were pretty much anything goes,” McGowan has said. “They would just have a girl with no top bounce across the screen for no reason, then get killed in horrid ways. Which is why I quite like that Cherry kind of has the guy’s role of saving everything.”
