Just like life, Fashion Week can also be like a box of chocolates, where you never know which celeb you’re gonna see! Before the DVF show, I saw cameras crowding around a mysterious girl with strawberry blond hair and a really cute long flowy dress, who was too petite to be Nicole Kidman, then turned out to be… Rose McGowan!

Read on to see what this infamous fashion risk-taker (how can anyone forget that shredded piece of fabric she wore to the VMA’S while dating Marilyn Manson) told Stylehive about what she’s craving, what she can’t live without, and more.

Stylehive: Favorite shows so far?
Rose McGowan: I just went to the Herve Leger one this morning and that was beautiful. They did an amazing job, and it’s such a fine line to straddle, but they did it very well.

Stylehive: Spring must haves?
RM: Well usually, because it’s still a little cold, tights and mini dresses, sweater mini dresses. But after that something eyelet, like this dress, long and flowy. Long and flowy can always work, because I can wear this with flip flops to the supermarket, or I can wear it here, where fancy people are!

Stylehive: Who else are you looking forward to seeing?
RM: Well this is my first time at the New York shows. I’ve done Westwood, I do the Paris shows, and Dolce flew me out for the last show, and they made some amazing gowns for me for Cannes this year, and I adore the boys. So I had never done American designers, but here I am!

Stylehive: Fashion essentials?
RM: Well I have about eight I don’t know what they’re called, I call them “the log.” The Louis Vuitton bag that looks like a log with straps.

Beauty essential?
RM: Hot pink lipstick!
